73_240z
Im looking for your guys opinion on this. This spring when i started to get my 240 ready for the summer i noticed that my right frame rail has rotted out from about 4 inches in front of the strut tower all the way up. Should i abandon the car and start over for a 3rd time or try to find some one who's good welding and have them weld me in a new frame rail?..looking for your opinions on this one
JMortensen
Zedd Findings has replacement frame rails. Many members here have made their own frame rails from plain old square tubing. Search around in the chassis forum and you'll find lots of options. Most of them require a lot of fabrication skill, so if you don't have that then it might be cheaper to start with a different tub.
