lowrider Posted September 7, 2006 Share Posted September 7, 2006 i currently bought a 74 260z that has a v8 conversion and a 350 turbo trans in it.i have several questions about the front end.if you do a v8 conversion does it affect the front end at all?the person that i bought it from says that the ball joints and tie rod ends are bad,would the v8 conversion affect any of these parts?Are there any upgrades that i should do to the front end to make it better?thank you. Just keep trying different terms and you will find a ton of info. If you still have a question, find an old thread that is on your topic, and reply to it - so that searching is easier in the future for others. The issue of V8 and weight is much talked about for this swap. As for any part of the chassis, suspension, brakes or steering, they need to be in top condition if you are putting a 350 in the car.
