veritech-z
I'm going in December. My wife and I are booked to see O, Zoomanity, and some others I don't remember, but she said the beetles one was on vacation while we are going to be there. Also planning to see the Grand Canyon and the Hoover dam. Any other recommended site seeing? We don't gamble much, but I want to see the desert. I've never been out west, so I'm looking forward to it.

veritech-z
12-3 through 12-8 is when we're going. Congrats on the 30 year anniversary! We'll have just passed one year on October 1st, so that's kind of our anniversary present to each other. That and the Teacup Cat we just bought that will never exceed 3-5 lbs even when full grown. Science is so cool...
JIM73240Z
vegas has a lot to do even if you don't gamble. the wife will love the forum shops at ceasars or the venitian or mgm or aladin or balagio or the wynn. tons of shows beside the cirque du sole (sp) shows. saw "O" in Jan. different. seen blueman group several times at the luxor, now at the venetian. you can turn in your man card at the door for celine deon. ouside of vegas is hoover dam. cool. I guess iron mike tyson is now on display at the mgm. i do not think he can go any lower than that. he has some ring set up outside one of the cafes. if you just want to look at people, the wynn and the balagio have insane amounts of talent. bring your credit card though. for cheap games, stay out of the balagio and the wynn. go to the excaliber or some of the other older casinos. there is just to much to do there. good luck. remember, vegas is a success if youleave with roughly the same amount of $ that you came there with. jimbo
tfreer85
I just got back from Vegas a little while ago, been to several of the shows there (not at once). My favorites of the ones I've seen have been KA, Mystere, Phantom of the Opera, Blue Man. I have been disappointed by Zumanity (horrible cabare things), Mama Mia, O (not horrible only okay), Danny Gains is okay, and the Comedy Clubs are kind of hit or miss sometimes. Also the Ferrari Dealership at the Wynn isn't really worth the $10 considering you can't get closer than 5ft to ANY car, can't take pictures, and constantly have some guy breathing down your next to make sure you don't "touch the velvet rope." I enjoy Vegas a lot, I enjoy all the food, the atmosphere, the good shows, and gambling a little. "Love" will be on the next trip around, just my opinion about the shows at Vegas.
