I'm sorry if it seemed like was "running around like a chicken with its head cut off." I was just getting annoyed that I had not gotten any info from CHRfab, as well as adding my own twisted sense off humer, guess it wasn't funny. I just received the fax from CHRfab today with measurements. This shows the engine to be @31" from the balancer to the tip of the waterpump, which extends past the bellhousing mounting flange. 26.5" at its widest point, and 24.5" from the very bottom of the oilpan to the top of the valvecovers. Alan also e-mailed me about the transmission deal. He recommends a 5spd over a 6spd becuase the engine wants to rev and two overdrives would bog the engine down. Will stated to trial fit the engine, but how could I do that without an engine? I'm not going to buy one unless it will fit.
