Sven
Does anyone have a set of unusable California Z fenders or remnants of some? Wrecked, cracked, destroyed by act of god -whatever. The only important thing is the headlight bucket areas need to be intact. I am trying to get headlight covers made, and would rather not send out my mint ones to get busted up in shipping. I'm sure most Hybridz'ers are familiar with the Cal Z. Known to some as the Scarab or Jim Cook Racing (JCR) wide body kit. Here's some pics to jog your memory, maybe you have some behind your shed? Also, they are made for rectangular lights. A complete car with this widebody kit can be seen here: http://www.jimcookracing.com/catalog/page21.html
Nsyder
Hey sven did you get the head light covers made? Who made them and how much did they cost? I have this body kit too and I am looking for solutions to get rid of the awful square head lights. Nsyder

BurnoutZ
Hey, after you ask them, post on here what they said... because in the picture it looks like it is for the circular headlights.
Sven
I haven't received a reply yet. I'll try calling next week if I don't hear anything. Also, I think they just have a generic picture of one type. They list 4 part #'s for sale on that page.
BurnoutZ
So, square headlight covers have been made. Either its a custom or someone is producing them.
Sven
Here's a link to that page of the catalog. http://www.jimcookracing.com/catalog/page15.html "Solid" sounds like fiberglass or plastic that is not transparent, and they probably look just like the pic you posted. JCR isn't replying yet.
