I hooked up everything, got the engine on TDC and made all my magnet marks by the book. Everything looks to be alright.......but when i try to crank it up, all I get are big balls of flames thru my Throttle body???. i checked the car again to see if i messed up my TDC mark but everything seems to be fine. so that lesves me to a conclusion I NEED HELP!!!!!! Besides that (without looking at it) I would say to just set the initial timing (probably 20 degrees_ and play around with the magnet position. Its all in the manual. spork Posted November 17, 2006 Share Posted November 17, 2006 You've rotated the crank by hand and made sure all magnets are seen, right? You've double checked that you have the plug wires hooked up correctly, right? That said, we need more specs on your acar and the settings you have on your programmer if we are to help any more.
