Dat260
Nobody knows anything? I want to get a Wilwood brake kit but they do not have a listing for our cars. Are the early (68-73) cheverolet, Ford or Mopar spindles the same has our cars? Thanks,
Sparky
are you wanting the hubs for any particular reason? do you just want to run wilwood calipers and bigger rotors? If so, have you seen this post: http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?t=113936
JMortensen
http://www.modernmotorsports.com and http://www.arizonazcar.com sell aluminum hubs. I think 240hoke figured out how to make Camaro or Vette hubs work on his Z. Search and you might find more info on that if you are a DIY'er. Dat260
Hi Guys, Thanks for the replies. The reason why I'am asking is because there is a chance for me to pick up a complete wilwood kit for an early cheverolet application for a very good price. The owner no longer can afford to complete his project so he is selling of parts. There is everything in the kit; Hubs, hats, disks, calipers and all the nuts, bolts and bearings. Its really a good deal. So, are the early chev spindles same as ours? Thanks again,
JMortensen
No I don't think they are. I think the spindles can be made to work, but I doubt the hats and all the rest would work.
Dat260
I think thats what happen with the guys brake I posted above (#1). You noticed the disk is bolted in front of the hat, maybe an offset issue. There is got to be a wilwood brake kit among all those kits in their catalog that fits our s30 configuration.
