FEnatic
Went to the junkyard today and found a 71 Z with four aluminum slotted 14" Bob Sharp racing wheels. I grabbed all four center caps from them, the wheels look in good shape too. Are these worth getting? Thanks
Dtsnlvrs
Hell yes, snatch them puppies up.
blueovalz
What is the difference between these, and any other 5 hole slotted aluminum wheel seen on the older era Zs? The point of my question is you can by "Shelby American" wheels, but they have nothing to do with the wheels on the original Shelbys, so is there any special importance for these "Bob Sharp Racing" wheels? FEnatic
I was wondering the same thing, they look just like the other slotted mags of the era, but they have a nice center cap with the Bob Sharp Racing logo on them. That's why I grabbed the caps. I was going to put them on my Western mags that are on the car now, but the caps are smaller than the opening so they don't fit. Maybe I will buy the wheels just to have another set though.
Dtsnlvrs
It is possible that the only "Bob Sharp" part on these wheels is the center cap...worth looking into though
Sven
For the price you can probably snatch those up for, I'd grab now, ask q's later. Any rare special model of <100 typically commands $$$ for parts.
