Guest Circuit00C
Im Cirucit00C. I drive a red autotragic 2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R but am hoping to get into a Z soon. I race circle track in my car I also autocross. I was wondering what Z would be the best candidate for the Chevy 350 swap as far as ease of instalation and mainly low cost.I also have one more question. Would i even fit into a Z. I'm 6'5" and must wear a helmet while racing.Do you think it would be a comfortable fit? oh and im realy impressed with the site its very nice.not to mention freakin huge. jtmny1999
Welcome.... A S30 will be good for the 350 swap and I believe you can fit well with a helmet S30's have alot of space.
Scottie-GNZ
Welcome.... A S30 will be good for the 350 swap and I believe you can fit well with a helmet S30's have alot of space. However......if you intend to put a cage in, that's a different story. A cage is going to limit how back the seat can travel and recline and with a helmet and 6' 5" you are going to need every inch to be "comfortable". Nothing worse than not being "comfortable" in a race car. Just be sure to check that out.

DavyZ
could some one give me some links to some of the swap kits out.plzid like to price stuff before i make up my mind to get a z Ummm, this whole site is dedicated to that kind of thing. You need to make good use of the search function, before asking the same questions that have been answered 1000 times--that way you won't get flamed. The 'kits' are from JTR, MSA, John's Cars, Scarab (Hooker), & custom one-offs. Google search each one and read read read. BTW, JTR is the most popular on this site. Welcome. veritech-z
If you're looking for prices, you're better off googling the brand name, and going to the website. If you are too tall, you can always do the roof scoop route, or Viper style helmet bulge...I'm just over six feet, maybe six two, and with stock seats I've got plenty of head room (though i've not got a cage, and haven't tried it with a helmet)... *edit* and you say you circle track in a sentra? How's that working out?
OlderThanMe
Just cut out the seat mounts and bolt the seats through a reinforced floor. Instant 4". I'll be lowering my seat eventually when I get around to cutting the body up. And I am interesten in what you are doing circle tracking a sentra... Racing with the dirt modifieds? Guest Circuit00C
im racing at the local speedway against other people who bring their own street legal cars in.on a night with 60 people my times are usualy in the top 5ish even though i have one of the top 15 least powerful cars.I hav't won anything yet but i always get close and this is just my first season so. They say im a little crazy cuse my tires whistle all the way around the turns and no one else does that as much as me. The way they set it up is they have time trials first then by the times you scored you race some one close they devide the track into two lanes for this part(one on one) the faster car gets the outside lane and about 2 lenghts to even it out. I once beat down a '98 mustang with a 5.0L swap,Cai,And full exhaust, and whatever else i couldn't see.
