510six
This is a dattalog of my methanol injection system under boost. The tempurature drops from almost 140 to 74 degrees in an instant, it allowed for 6* more timing under boost with crappy 91 oct pump gas. http://album.hybridz.org/showphoto.php?photo=12629&size=big&cat=
linluv84
Looks good! I assume that is a profe$$ional setup? Does anybody have any experience with the lower end washer fluid type setups?
510six
I have actually used an old Spearco water/alcohol injection system which consisted of a tank that was pressurised from boost pressure and used a small 40psi pump and a small jet in the intake tract and a Hobbs switch to activate at 7psi.Still worked fine with 12psi of boost with a small T4/T4 turbo and 275rwh.The setup was the brainchild of AEM engineers and tweaking of the AEM EMS by a PRO tuner. 510six
The dattalog is with 30% methanol as fuel at 7.5 psi of boost.40% methanol will be used at higher boost levels once the boost is increased.
gretchen/jason
I assume this is with a turbo . Would methanol injection also work with a supercharger ? Jason
