Owen
Got some new wheels while I was in Japan. http://www.v8zcar.com/s30z/brakeswheels.htm Also some pix of some TT Supra wheels on my Z. I wrote 245 as the tire size but I think they were actually 255s. Owen
DavyZ
Owen, The new wheels look positively sano for being as little in price as they were. Very great deal getting them directly from Japan. Makes me think that we are getting ripped off to buy a set of say, Volk Racing wheels for only $3000??? I thought your wheels were Porsche rims at first glance, but they look even better. Please post some pics after you get them mounted with rubber. Welcome back from Japan! Davy
blueovalz
Sharp looking wheels. Won't see too many of them around. Lots of spacers there (on your site) too. I liked the front rotor spacer idea. On the wheel spacers though, have you considered welding the two together to make one larger one? This would at least eliminate any looseness from developing between the two anyway. Owen
Davy, yes, wheels are waaay over priced over here! Especially the big name Japanese wheels like Work, Impul, Volk, etc. There are some pretty cheap ones though, naturally they're for Hondas...I liked the Tenzo Mean 6. Terry, I would like to weld the two pieces together, they're aluminum. I'd have to redrill one of the pieces to get them to work though. My 20mm spacers are one piece and look a lot stronger.
