S30TRBO Posted February 21, 2007 Share Posted February 21, 2007 Hey all, I am getting the parts together for my L28ET swap in my 240Z. My Z currently has the stock 4 speed in it with a Goodridge or Russell stainless steel slave cylinder line from MSA. When I swap in the 1981 280ZX 5-speed will that line transfer over to my new 280ZX slave cylinder? Or do I need to get the line for a 280ZX? I couldn't find anywhere if they are interchangeable between the slave cylinders and transmissions. I looked on MSA site and there are two different part numbers: • Stainless Steel Clutch Hose, 70-78 Z Code:21-2170 Price: $19.95 • Stainless Steel Clutch Hose, 79-83 ZX Code:21-2171 Price: $19.95 I just want to make sure before I order it if I need it.
