Guest StrikNine
as long as compression is altered is there any other issues with running boost through an n42 cylinder head? (Yes I do understand that cam is different which i've purchased through msa and a stand alone fuel system through megasquirt...)
Administrators BRAAP Posted March 7, 2007 Administrators Share Posted March 7, 2007 You already covered the major issue, compression ratio. Outside of that, the N-42 will work just fine. For what its worth, the N-42 ports are VERY similar to the P-90 Turbo head ports. My the torque be with you..
big-phil
I think I have a video, or 20 on youtube of my turbo with an n42 before I got the p90.
280z-racer
when my lazy self finally puts my motor back in, initial start up/smog inspection, and turbo will be on my N42 head from the original engine with a 2mm head gasket. then when funds are available i have a p90 that i will throw on.
