Booztd 3
Guys I'm starting to piece together my oil feed/return setup for the turbo and I'd like to know how you guys are retrofitting AN lines to the oil return setup. I pulled the plug out of the block and just by judging it looks somewhere in the 22-24mm range, but I have no idea if anyone makes a fitting that size to convert to AN -10 Anyone? MrFancypants
You talkin oil drain from the turbo back to the block? I cant see you needing anything more than -6 for that. Should all be gravity fed and the feed should be less than -3. - Greg -
Booztd 3
Precision states I need to run a -10 line drain, so I'm trying to figure out what I need to do for a fitting on the side of the block. I am running a GT42 turbo
RB26powered74zcar
You can just put fittings into the pan for the turbo oil drain back And, for the block fittings, I just JB welded AN fittings into the OEM drain pipes, as I did here, and on the front turbo This is my head oil drain (top fitting) and my oil pumps external pick up from inside the trap doors in the pan (bottom fitting)
Booztd 3
I found out that 3/4 NPT will work
MrFancypants
You can just put fittings into the pan for the turbo oil drain back Be careful with that... if the oil level in the pan is above the drain (as is common), it will not drain. Thats why stock turbos drain to the block. - Greg -
J Taylor
I took the stock fitting and cut the barb off then got a weld on #10 and had it welded to the end of the factory piece. Works great. JT
