LLave
I have been toying with the idea of putting my old l28 into a Datsun pickup. What do you think? Will it fit? Anyone ever seen one or have pics? Thanks
76s30
what kind, not that i've never seen it done but an l28et in a 74 720 2wd would be friggin SWEEET.
Roostmonkey
I have a 72 521 P/U and I believe you'll need to cut out the firewall to allow those extra 2 cylinders to fit.The motor mount to the front is the same so that helps some.I'm getting ready to swap an RB26 into my 240, when thats done, the L28et is going in a 72 510 2 dr.My preliminary measurements have shown that this will be pretty much the same as the P/U swap. I say go for it.

DavyZ
hmm sounds like I need to find myself a pick-up Funny, but this makes me think of the Datsun pickup Auxilary and I saw on the way to the gun show yesterday: '67 Datsun pickup with a 350 Chevy motor, solid rear axle ( 9 inch?) and ladder bars. It looked so cool, almost like a roachy gasser pickup or something. If you need pickup help, this forum will get you started: http://www.nwde.org/extras/forum/default.asp My friend down the street makes disc brake upgrade kits for the pick ups. His work is on there if you look under "projects" somewhere. Davy
