zgeezer
If you are thinking about converting any of these engines to RWD for a Z swap, you MUST read this: http://www.moparchat.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=71020&highlight=supra One or the other bell housing from different Jeep products will mate a five speed Toyota Supra Turbo transmission to each of these engines. The information appears pretty specific. Hope its good information and not the ramblings of some some dude repeating something he heard at a bench racing session. g

veritech-z
I was eyeing down one of those 4.0L DOHC Aurora engines in the boneyard just the other day and wondering if there was a RWD tranny out there for it...seems the water pump is on the flywheel side of the engine, but it sure was a cool looking motor. There used to be a conversion package sold on www.race-cars.com in the engine section to upgrade a standard Aurora engine to IRL spec, but it seems they aren't there anymore...it was like $8k and came with all kinds of stuff, looked pretty legit. BirdmanZ
http://www.chrfab.com/Transmissions.htm These guys have all the answers for the northstar engines. A chevy V6 bellhousing mates up to it with minor modification. I believe Jamie T was thinking about this swap but decided to go RB.
