Guest 280ZForce
I'm selling this for my best friend's dad, I've known my friend since I was 3 and we have grown to be practically brothers ever since then. His dad is in a tight spot right now and on the verge of losing his house if he can't sell his bike so he can make payment. He lost his job at the Post Office (where he worked for many years) after he was wrongfully accused of theft of an automobile/stealing parts. He has had some unfortunate happenings in life and now they have threatened to take his house. He has asked me to help him get the word out on selling his 1960 Harley Davidson 7LH. So I've listed it on ebay for him, if you know anyone looking for a old Harley, please send them/show them this... Thanks in advance - Justin 1960 Harley Davidson 7LH on eBay...click here

Guest 280ZForce
Have you tried posting on craigslist also? yes, he did before he turned it over to me for help. all he got was a bunch of scams. I've listed many things on craigs as well and 95+% of the responses I get are scams, tis sad, but true.
hoov100
î dont think he would get 15k for it, maybe 9k, but i sold my dads old xr1000 in running condition for 7k and that was a RARE bike.

I dono.. but I would change the 'wording' of the ebay auction.. If it sounds like the situation's grim, people may lowball offers, and/or may not bid as high.. just my .02$ worth. Nice bike though, and I could see getting say 10-12K for it, IF you could wait for the right buyer.. Hell, my buddy got $6000 for his 78 sportster (it was a bit of a basket case too..) which I've heard called by some people, the 'little' Harley, or the 'chick' bike.. Good luck with the sale.
