Guest 70240z
What would you pay for a set up like this below??? Reason being is I was at the shop that makes the set today and trying to decide on bringing a set back from Japan.. Arizona Zcar Sells this set up for $1196
Mikelly
....You are your own best sales person is what someone told me a while back... So here goes.... Those parts are a work of art... HOWEVER, they are NOT on car adjustable, and would be a royal pain in the Keester to adjust or set up, not to mention the ZF Racing parts are CHEAPER to buy @ $850 for the complete setup... Just ask Steve & Ian, Mark Icard, Ruben Whittemore and others who have my setup on their cars.... Adjustability is good, but it is GREAT when you don't have to spend all day fiddling with it! ...And for a limited time, I'll throw in a set of rear control arm bushings free, an $80 Value! Mikelly
BZZT, Wrong answer... Sort of... the TC ROd is Adjustable, but the rear control arm is set up JUST like the AZcar stuff... I didn't realize my stuff was priced that much lower than the competitions! Mike
katman
Looks to me like the aft rod end of the rear control arm on the top picture is adjustable for toe. Notice how the sway bar location for the front control arm of the AZ Car piece would always want to twist the control arm, which is reacted only by the clevis coming from the T/C rod? Yeech. Guest Anonymous
Can't beat on the car adjustability. If I were doing a show car, might be interested. For pure function, I'll take Mike's parts. With a little time and some powder coating, but this adds cost, Mike's parts could be made to look close to that. But come on guys, the only person besides us that sees the suspension is the last guy you ran over and who is he going to tell? Mark
pparaska
ROFL! Good one, Mark! Yes, I think some time on the buffing wheel and then with a "chrome" powdercoat, and Mike's (ZF Racings) parts would be plenty eye catching from a show standpoint, and of course, more functional! Mikelly
I think I'll have to take some pics of Jamie's Silver Metalflake powder coating technique on those rears... They look AWESOME...and Surely top shelf show quality! Mike
pparaska
Mike, this is in no way a knock on your parts (I want a set - as soon as my checkbook recovers!), but the rear one above from Japan looks on-the-car adjustable, as does the T/C rod. Hard to tell though. Those things are beautiful!
Guest Thurem
If only I had a welder and knew how to use it... Thure

Mikelly
Actually I have a domain already, but no site designed... I'd ship to Ausie if you pay the actual shipping charges. Let me know! Mike
