deja Posted May 22, 2007 Share Posted May 22, 2007 Fram HPG-1 Fuel Filter has a 10 micron filter, will withstand up to 200 PSI, flows 90 GPH. But the specs also say it is NOT for EFI. Just as you, I saw the high pressure rating and thought why not for my EFI race car, so I tried it. Leaked big time. No matter what I did, used an alternate square O-ring, polished the sealing surfaces, tried different torque values on the bolt, etc. It always leaked a steady stream, so I gave up on that cheap POS and spent $70 I think it was back then, for a real billet aluminum fuel filter that does not leak. Thanks pretty much figured I was screwed. I hate it when I figure stuff out after I already bought stuff, didn't do enough research on this one. And of course I got it off Ebay so I can't take it back. I'll add it to all the other stuff I'll put up on Ebay, LOL. I looked at the Mallory one, but didn't want to mess with the dual inlet/outlet thing. During my seach here I think I saw you were using the Mallory.
