jhaag
Here is an article about the installation of a big block Chevy into a 240Z. It is from the May, 1978 issue of Popular Hot Rodding magazine. Many thanks to Paul (BRAAP) Ruschman for his tutorial (http://forums.hybridz.org/showthread.php?p=783354) on “How To” Post pictures on HybridZ , the EASY way…" John
Cable
I've seen the story before, but never cared for motor plates, or the tubbed/narrowed rear. That's one of proudest things is I was able to do the swap without cutting ANYTHING and could swap out the BBC for the stock L-series in an afternoon. Still, that car brings me back to the Pro-Street era of things.
Pete84
Narrowed in those tires, wouldn't the Z get pretty twitchy? Project BBZ, how has that TH350 stood up so far? Prepped much? And what is your Car Domain ID? Looks good!
Cable
Narrowed in those tires, wouldn't the Z get pretty twitchy? Scary is more like it.... Project BBZ, how has that TH350 stood up so far? Prepped much? And what is your Car Domain ID? Looks good! TH350 is doing fine, a couple of leaks though... Its a basic rebuild with a few more clutches and a Trans-Go Stage II shift-kit. I have killed a torque converter though. Now I have a ATI unit that seems to be doing well. I am not sure what you mean by my Car Domain ID, could you re-phrase the question? Thanks!!
