76s30 Posted June 24, 2007 Share Posted June 24, 2007 I took the car around the block, about a mile away, smoke just poured into cabin. go back to shop open hood smoke is coming out of crank case breather. do compression check number 5 plug is soaked in oil, absolutly no compression, NONE. Did I break a ring land and or ring. simply because of a interminit miss? I haven't tore it down yet but its pretty obvious already that the cylinder and piston are toast. Just that I've never see it happen with only a miss fire. still had good oil pressure 4.5 bar all the time temp normal. It was fine for a week and then a low milage short block takes a dump.
