proxlamus©
I am currently running Tokico Illumina 5-way adjustable struts on all four corners.. I noticed that the passenger rear sits lower than the drivers side rear with no one in the car. and on hard bumps the tire barely rubs the fender lip. Now I am running Arizona Z car springs 205 front 225 rear and everything was installed about 2 years ago. I also noticed that I kind of hear a HISS when its compressed fairly hard on a bump. I went to the track last week and the car handles very very smoothly.. but I am just concerned why it sags to one side and the hiss on that strut only. johnc
Check the gland nut, the spring mounts, and the upper shock mount.
JMortensen
The strut wouldn't likely cause a sag on one side. Main symptom of a bad strut in my experience is shock oil all over the fenderwell. The age old test is push down on the fender and see if it comes back up once or if it oscillates, sometimes that's a bit hard to do on a car with stiffer springs. MrFancypants
You can also roll over a speed bump and see how the car bounces. You want to go just fast enough to get the weight to transfer. Dead giveaway if it bounces more than once or bottoms out, or the car rocks side to side badly. - Greg -
