I need a military address...

Guys/gals, hopefully you can help me out here

The wife and I bought/collected a bunch of stuff that was destined for the troops in Iraq (stuff like sunscreen, snacks, personal hygiene stuff, etc)--originally we were going to take it with us to a collection point in conjunction with a Patriot Guard ride. Well, due to a family emergency, we didn't get a chance to go on the run, so we still have all this stuff ready to ship out. The original collection point has already sent their stuff out, and before I try to find another local collection, I'd like to know if anyone here has a son/daughter/spouse/loved one currently serving over there that wouldn't mind getting a package from someone out of the blue. Since you can no longer just send it to "any soldier", I need a specific address for it to go to (you don't even have to tell them it's coming-might be a nice surprise)

I have enough for probably 2 packages to go out, so the first 2 addresses I get will get the boxes.

If you don't want to post the name/address of family, please feel free to PM me, or email the info to: jim @ jimzdat . com (remove spaces, of course)

Well lets see do you think a 240z would fit? LOL

I think just about anything that is sent is welcome, we did have a shoratage on baby wipes when we had no working showers for about a week, but that drainage problem is fixed for now.

I can not wait until I get back to the states and start my hunt for a z to drop an v8 in :)

I was on leave a few weeks ago when I ran across this site and got the Z bug.

(you all will be sorry when I start asking my questions, cause I have a ton of them LOL)

Thanks,

Lou

If anyone else wants to send stuff, but doesn't have someone particular in mind, you can always send stuff through anysoldier.com

They keep track of soldiers who are out in the field, and certain soldiers act as a contact point to receive shipments, then distributing them to those around their area.

(I'd only heard about this until this current deployment, but we've been getting some strange things sent through that system! )
