What is the diameter of the rear hub on a 280ZX?

Recommended Posts

I am looking for a set of different sized wheel spacers and my car is not where I live so I can't just go out and measure this. So what is the hub diameter on the rear of a 280ZX?(where the center of the rotor goes over).

I thought I read this somewhere in a post but for the life of me I can't find it!

Thanks,

Guy

Scroll down to one of Frank280ZX's entries...

Strange but I noticed that the diameter of the ZX stub axle is actually smaller (30mm vs. 32mm) than the first generation 1970-78 Z cars. The Z31 stub axle starts out at a 30mm diameter but then it tapers out to a diameter of 35mm where the wheel flange is. Nice upgrade.

Hope that's what you're looking for.

Nope that's not was I was looking for. I ment the part that I thought stuck out on the inside of the rotor. I just got out by my car and I see that the rotor is flush with the hub center. I think the wheel spacers I bought today(online) aren't going to work. They are hubcentric ones for a 240sx or something. I really need to get a hold of Ross C so he can just make me what I need.

Thanks anyways though!
