Some-Guy
Finally got the second amp picked it up an older jensen 250 watt at a pawn shop in kamloops for 20$. Slapped it all in today. I was going to paint the whole sub box black but ran outa paint so I left the back since its under the seat anyway. What ya think? so far its cost me like mostly nothing left overs from other systems and stuff bought years ago.
jbk240z
Cool, how does it "bump"?
Some-Guy
Actually considering the subs are from 1992 and the box isn't the right size and such it bumps pretty damn good. Its way louder than I expected anyway. My parts hauler and camping mobile is pretty much finished!
cygnusx1
Looks better than the work from Unique Whips! BoOm-BoOm-ThuMp. I used to have a loose head unit with AM-FM-Cassete, in my glovebox and one big livingroom wooden speaker sloshing around in my trunk. Yours is pro compared to what I had. Some-Guy
This setup is held in place with stuff I laying around the shop! and I slapped the sub box together with a skill saw. Came out alright tho works great for a parts hauler.
Sven
Those are serious old school punches. I had an oxymoronic ghetto system in my 260 that was actually expensive. That was like '94 or something. I made a box for a set of Boston Acoustic Pro Series separates, and ran them with an Orion 275... all from my $29 portable CD player. It actually sounded damn good til I finally bought an Alpine CD and torched the tweeters. Should have left it ghetto.
