Larger sway bars aid better cornering with stiffer springs and struts. It would only be practical to add larger sway bars if the springs and strut cartridges were upgraded to stronger units. 260DET Posted September 23, 2002 Share Posted September 23, 2002 A large, strongly mounted FRONT sway bar helps a lot. IMHO the stock Z front sway bar mounts are not strong enough. Unless for some reason you want the rear to lose grip when cornering hard fairly readily, I would not use a rear sway bar.
