clayton 260Z
Do a google search for a Datsun 260Z service manual much better than the Haynes manual. If you can not find one let me know and I will get the info out of my book where I purchased mine.

As you can see I have the V8 installed. so basically I would like to know is what each of those wires I need and which to cut and discard so that I can just loom whats needed in as small a bundle as possible. My main concern is the front and rear lighting. I charged up a battery to run voltage test but without knowing which wire does what I may as well walk blind into an intersection. ArnZ
The Haynes manuals are better than nothing, but the original factory manual is the way to go. There is one on e-Bay right now $20.00 or "buy it now" for $50.00 which isn't a bad price. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-260Z-Service-Manual-1974_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ34229QQihZ001QQitemZ110166169371QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
