jkgts1
Hi, I am throwing around the idea of bending my own hard lines for the brakes. Does anyone know the fitting size I need for the front calipers? Or better yet if I upgrade to Toyota calipers, what size fittings would I need for that? I ask because all the kits that I find come with fittings for domestic vehicles, so I am curious what size fittings I will need for my 74 260z. Thanks
Careless
If you have the calipers you could just go to the supply store you generally use and match it up. Not sure if it's easier for you that way. Also, I hope you're not running a hard line directly to the caliper for obvious reasons. (hate to point it out, but i'm making sure)
MrFancypants
Everything is 10mmx1.0 on the stock brake system. If you are going to be replacing everything I strongly recommend converting to -3 AN fittings. They are more serviceable. - Greg -
burntread
I know this is an old post, but Greg do the Toyota calipers take the same size fittings (M10x1.0)? Also, what is the procedure to switch to -3 fittings? Thanks.
