1 fast z
I need some pads for superlite calipers that wont squeak on the street. Ive had two different compunds in now, and they both squeak under light street breaking. These are on 13" cast iron Rotors by the way. I have BP-10's in there now, and there not as bad as my previous pads but they still squeak.
mark
Have you tried some of the spray on anti squeak stuff on the back of the pads? It has helped on my Z. Can you make a backing plate for the pads? I bet a backing plate and some of the spray on stuff would help.

On the superlites, the caliper pistons are inverted stainless steel cups, so they end up just cutting a hole (cookie cutter-style) in any soft metal backing plate. For the same reason, the spray on stuff doesn't seem to do much good either. For the street, I had pretty good luck with the Wilwood "Gator" pads for squeal reduction. speeder
The Wilwood "Q" compound pads tame that obnoxious squeal for street use also.

jt1
The Hawk street pads (HPS?) don't squeak at all, but they dust a good bit. jt
z-ya
The Wilwood T pads are also street friendly. Not a lot of bite, but quiet, and almost no dust.
