olie05
"girls require time and money" last time I checked "and" meant add not multiply. I hereby declare this proof invalid.

silicone boy
That's awesome. The other day, I was discussing logic with some co-workers. I brought up the classic proof for the existence of God by Descartes (or was it Kant?). It goes like this: God has all perfections (otherwise he wouldn't be God) Existence is a perfection (a real V8 Z is better, more perfect than the one you are dreaming about) Therefore, God must exist. Most people don't like this because it is a logical trap, but it took over 300 year for someone to disprove it (St. Thomas Aquinas), and some philosophers doubt if his rebuttal was valid. This is an even better example of the use of logic.
mario_82_ZXT
"girls require time and money" last time I checked "and" meant add not multiply. I hereby declare this proof invalid. Not in logic. "AND" is * and "OR" is + tis pretty funny... Mario
X64v
Mario is correct. The statement "Y varies directly with X and Z" (for k=1) gets you Y = XZ, not Y = X+Z
