titaniumbmx Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 what is needed cut all the connectors off of the engine harness then throw it away. wire only the connectors essential for the engine to run properly back to the ecu. i want to plug in the harness hook up the battery and the fuel pump flip a switch and push a button than ...vroom... $500-700 for a plug and play harness for a car with NO factory wiring. its an 87 turbo engine and ecu depending on the quality i may need two for $1000-1400 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
nismopu Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 So, you dont want idle air control valve function, thermostat wire, EGR solenoid wires, air regulator plug, A/c activation wire, and oil pressure sending unit wire? Without those things the engine will run but without idle control it likes to hunt. Do you not have any 300zx's in your local junkyards? peace.
