timek1m
ok, got a question for those who did the 240sx caliper swap and i want to know what brake lines im suppose to use? can the 280z stock brake lines work? cuz im about to buy a new set of SS lines frome earl's and i dont know what i should do before i tear apart the rear drum set. if anyone has done this and bought a pair earl's line could you tell me what number or what kind you bought or a SS equivalent. hopefully i wont have to custom make it? thanks. 280Z Turbo
I'm going to order some custom lines from Modern Motorsports. I almost got some stock 240SX lines from Agency Power, but if you use the stock brake line mounting points, you run the risk of wrecking them on the E-brake arm. The 240SX brake lines also use a banjo fitting, while the stock lines have a female fitting. The Modern Motorsports lines get rid of the hard line on the passenger side, but you will need to modify the hard line on the driver's side.
