blueovalz Posted November 19, 2007 Share Posted November 19, 2007 When I did that many years back, I did not need the proportioning valve being the bias was pretty close to the OEM balance. This was with the 280ZX turbo rear calipers on the 300ZX rotors. If you're using different calipers, then you'll need to look at the difference in piston diameter, but just a guess would tell me that you'll be fine for normal driving. Silver Mine Motors Posted November 19, 2007 Share Posted November 19, 2007 ya it depends on what you have in the front. i have the vented toyota kit in my car, and it was almost impossible to get the rears to lock up before the prop valve was installed. Wedge Posted November 19, 2007 Share Posted November 19, 2007 I think someone here was recommending gutting out the proportion valve in the back .
