nbesheer
Okay so i picked up a 4-Point harness for free from a friend. The rear (upper) straps have the mounting plate for a bolt, and it doesn't appear to be able to mount to a harness bar. But then again I do not know anything about these other then the angle for the top straps.
Armand
It depends on the style of harness. There are some harness's where you can simply remove the top straps from the adjuster, remove the mounting plate, and put it back together with the harness bar in place of the mounting plate. Other harness's, such as Corbeau, require you to cut the belt, remove the mounting plate, then burn the edges so it isn't all frayed. Then you just wrap it around the bar and tighten it. nbesheer
okay the belt actually has the straps sewn around in a loop with the mounting bracket in the loop. since I don't have the harness bar welded in yet, I guess I would feel safer putting the bar through the loop then welding it up and if I ever have to remove the belt then just cut it. V8ZRACER260Z
That is not necesary just weld a tab to the harness bar facing down and wrap the harness around and bolt it on. Make sure you have good welds and use a grade 8 bolt or better to fasten it
