heavy85
isn't that 02 sensor too close to the header? i thought if they were to close they wouldn't last long or something. theres a certain distance they should be at ive read the measurement somewhere but cant remember where.anybody know? That's where they were in the factory manifolds so I just duplicated that .. OK well actually one side was IN the manifold itself. worknprog
I have to admit that is awsome and chalk me up as jealous. I have the motor and I have gotten a lot of help from vinhzx. It makes me want to go work on it right now. : )
aziza z
i guess that should work then. i guess that only applies to turbo cars then (i think i read the 02 sensor placement in a turbo motor thread). anywho looks great.
Guest endeffect0
Those mounts are very nice man. In fact the whole swap is very nice, i too am jealous. As for the O2 sensor placement issue. I have two turbo cars both putting out over 300whp, one with a wideband sensor and one with the factory narrow band. in both cased the O2 sensor is just a few inches from the turbo. the turbos and down pipes have been glowing at times and it has not had any negative affect on the O2 sensors.
