Mauisnow13
It seems that when I give my Z the WOT, it stops pulling during high RPMs. Almost like the engine isn't even pushing the wheels. I don't know if I'm just used to not as much power or if this is a problem. If anyone has any ideas on why this could be, please let me know. I appreciate all of your help. Mauisnow13
HAHAHAHA! Sorry. I totally forgot! I have and L26 in my 240z. I didn't chose the swap, I got it like that. haha
m1noel
These things stock kinda run out of steam before they get to redline. If its pulling well and then craps out, it could be fuel flow- maybe just fuel filter. Cam timing can cause that too. What rpms are you talking about? I thought I might get a chance to run over there today, but got busy with other stuff. Maybe sometime next week. Mike
Mauisnow13
That's just the thing. My RPM guage doesn't work. I have to shift REALLY early though. Maybe I'm just not used to the car. How fast does the L26 go through gears?
Mauisnow13
Wat speeds does it usually shift at? I still have the four gear transmission.
