Well today I started my car and noticed alot of thick white smoke comming from the down pipe. When I moved the car I noticed ALOT of oil on the ground. I had a buddy watch while I started the car and all of the oil is comming from the down pipe along with alot of white smoke. Its about a pint of oil that comes out each time the car starts. Im not sure if it continues to flow out becuase Im scared to let it continue to run like that. Its an L28ET. I dont think its my rings, could it be the turbo?? Any Ideas??

Thanks

First thing, make sure you put oil in it and the levels are good. Do you notice wet looking oil anywhere near or around the turbo?

I just looked at my 82 ZXT motor that is out of the car. I don't think it could be the down pipe. My thought it's the feed line at the top and squirting oil all over everything.

That oil line goes around the back of the motor and under the intake manifold.

If you don't see oil get in a well lit area or use a flashlight to look around the top of the turbo and have a buddy start the car and you see if you can find any oil squirting or leaking.

If the turbo or area is soaked with oil, degrease and pressure wash the area and repeat above steps.
