RayG1988
So I looked around and I couldn't really find much... Do I really just take out the EFI and bolt on the carbs? I posted this on another forum since this site is blocked at work so I''ll just copy paste. "So I was thinking about switching over from EFI to carbs with my L28et, I've seen several carbed turbo setups however I've never actually seen a write up on how to switch over. The shell I'm using is from an early model 260z, so it was carbed to begin with however it had the L28et swapped over from a 280zx turbo and it was switched over to fuel injection (although I have yet to swap the gas tanks from my 280zx into the 260z, this will happen next month) I'll probably be buying a used weber setup and bolt it on to the L28et, however I don't know how this will affect it because the car is boosted. I'm assuming I'll have to get custom made carbs, but anything else? Assume money is not an issue, I'm just asking this question to increase my knowledge and potentially move over to carbs if it's more beneficial and easier to make power in the long run. I would have asked on hybrid z but it's blocked here at work and I assumed a few of you would know." Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance. sweetleaf
Trust me, it's there. For a quick answer. Yes it's possible, no it's not that simple, and EFI works much better than carbs for turbo.

I didn't find any answers, all I found was already L28 turbo carb builds but nothing on how they did it.
PanzerAce
dunno the process for EFI to carbs in general, but for turboing a carb, there are two ways to do it: blow through and draw through. Blow through places the turbo before the carbs, drawthrough places it afterwords.

I don't mind if it's THAT difficult, just as long as it's doable and somewhat worth it. If not I'll stay EFI and figure something else out. SHO-Z
There is a lot of information in this web site. DO A SEARCH!!! You could read for days on all of the information. I am in the middle of my supercharged blow through SK Racing set up. Draw through is the simplest set up.
