HoustonZ
I was so excited to get my Holset HY35 in the mail today, but it looks different then the other ones I've seen. There is no 90 degree cast in bend on the intake side. Is this the difference between the HY35 and HY35W? Will I get similar numbers out of this one? xxjoeyxxeb
I think you may have gotten an older HY. The newer ones have the bend, and I think it will still work. Thats at least what I gathered from my research, so maybe someone else can back me up.
HoustonZ
It looks like I would have to fab a new exhaust elbow AND a new intake elbow. I'm really disappointed because I was hoping it would just bolt in place.

TrumpetRhapsody
That's how mine is too. I haven't done anything with it yet, but I know it'll work. I've seen other members use it i'm pretty sure.
gearheadstik
Yes, the W has a 90deg..
xxjoeyxxeb
Why do you have to fab a new exhaust elbow?
proxlamus©
your elbow is fine.. just weld up a downpipe.. as for the intake... just buy or fab a 90 degree elbow and connect it with a v-band! (or cut off the vband lip and use a silicone coupler) The turbo is still bolt on.. but with any new turbo it will require fabrication!!
