Baseline Dyno of my L28ET 240Z

Finally got around to doing a baseline dyno for my Z. This was kind of a last minute thing because there was a dyno day down the street from me. I couldn't get a clean run because I was getting what seemed to be an intermittant miss causing a backfire. I got one decent run to 5000 RPM at only ~11psi. It put out 241 whp and 272 ft-lbs.

This pretty much where I expected to be at this boost level. I'll try and dial in the timing and try a high boost run in the future. Mods are stock bottom end and head with unknown miles (burns about a quart every month). SDS EFI, 420cc injectors, small npr ic, t3/t04 57 trim 63 ar, 2.5" DP to 3" exhaust.

I was going to say something looked wrong to me, but then I saw you didn't go past 5000. Looks like you have a little bit of tuning to do around 3,500 though. Other than that, looks pretty damn good. I bet you either are or could put down 300whp easily in the higher RPMs.

Yeah, on that run they were just checking out the wideband and making sure every thing was ok. The dyno jet wideband was reading lean so they hooked up a FJO wideband to double check things. He may have just eased into the throttle on that run and thats also why they stopped at 5000 RPM. Turned out to be the only run without a miss. That run was also about 10% richer than the first run with the black smoke and backfire.

Not sure about 1/4 mile times. I don't want to say it will run 12s then go out and run a 14.0 . I'll eventually get to the track for a few runs.
