rustorbust
I have been slowly but surely putting my z back together and Im doing a carbureted blow through system. My question is what fuel pressure regulator would I use. All the boost reference ones that I see are for EFI and start out at like 12 to 14 psi. Correct me if im wrong but wont I need one that starts out at like 6 or 7 psi for the carburetor while it is not under any boost? dr_hunt
Blow through isn't cheap by any stretch of the imagination. I'm doing it all over again and going efi. Things I've learned about blow through. 1. Lock out mechanical advance so you can set total timing and then pull timing with your box (msd). Mine is at 40 initial (locked) 2. Buy the best carb you can, I used C&S aerosol billet $1500 3. Fuel system design is very important. 4. Being conservative with tune pays big dividends. 5. Spark plugs are a big deal.
