I was told when i bought the car that it was "bored" to 3.0, not stroked and i want to know if and what the best turbo would be to install and if this info sounds correct. PanzerAce Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 You could always call Rebello and talk to them as well, especially if you have the engine serial number, since they would most likely have written it down somewhere. http://rebelloracing.com/ Also, I believe that their 3.0 motors are bored to that displacement, especially considering the redline and hp/tq distribution. Their 3.2 and up engines are stroked as well I believe. Is it just the block, or is it also a head? Like I said though, call Rebello. They are great guys to talk to. Great people to talk to on the phone, and more than willing to help. They probably have forgotten more about building L series engines than many people will ever know. 3.0Retroride Posted April 1, 2008 Share Posted April 1, 2008 According to what I remember about my Rebello 3.0, with pistons only the engines come out to 2900 and some change, but to get the true 3.0 they have to stroke the crank slightly.
