240Z_Master
Anyone have an idea what the stock fuel pump psi was on the RB25DET? #2? What's the general rule of thumb on the Fuel PSI vs. Boost?
ZDrifter
I would like to know the answers to this question aswell.. I heard that stock fuel rail pressure is 41 psi, I may be wrong....
240Z_Master
So I have searched forums and I've been getting anywhere between 36,38,40, and 43.5 PSI. LOL! Need to be a little more exact. Can anyone chime in?
mannyvig
Not sure about factory, but I was told by Nissan Motorsports to run it around 45-46 static pressure.
Racinjitter
The FSM says for a series 1 rb25det it is 42 psi. I think the general rule of thumb for boost vs psi is 1:1. Meaning that for every psi above atmosphere you will raise the fuel pressure 1 psi. So 42 base fuel pressure +20 psi = 62psi fuel pressure. Does this sound correct? triple B
yeah that sounds right depends on what size injector you are running. soem bigger ones require higher pressure but usually not an issue because of the boost levels involved
