abes
Does anyone know if I can install a walbro 255 fuel pump on a stock rail/ injectors on an '83 non-turbo?? The reason I ask is because I'm getting ready to swap out my n/a for an l28 turbo and I'm trying get things in 100% working order before the actual swap. It's one less thing to look into if something goes wrong. Thanks..

DCZ
I don't have a definite answer but I don't see why not. I assume your concern is too much flow/pressure for the NA setup? Your pressure regulator should take care of the pressure and any overflow goes back to the tank. I don't know what kind of inlet and outlet the 255 has but enough people have used it so at the least I would think some hose barb connectors should get you running. That is how I plumbed the ZXT fuel pump into my 240z.
X64v
To answer your question definitely, yes, there is no problem with it.
junglist
Some places that sell the Walbro's sell the install kit with it that comes with the hose barb connectors that should work with the stock fuel lines. I just got one the other day with the install kit for $120 shipped from fullthrottlespeed.com, it also came with the rubber sleeve and the clamps/hardware to mount it.
