Tony D Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 I ran the small housing for years. On the auto-X I was at 17psi at 1700rpm at WOT. It was more like a supercharged car than a turbocharged cars. It was ALL DONE at 5500 though. Short shifting was a way of life. But for what it was, it worked fine. If I was gumptious, I would put a larger external wastegate for a separate bypass at higher RPM and use a larger compressor wheel...but you got to be careful with the smaller wheel working that big wheel.
