auxilary
more or less. small throttle issues below 4k rpm, but over 4.5k rpm the thing is a freaking beast. literally wants to lift the front off the ground, and this is just a 600! Yesterday I put plates on it, new front turn signals to make it street legal (old ones were broken off), took her for a spin. Today was bath day. Oh, and it is EXCESSIVELY loud. Rivals harleys but sounds good compared to them So far, the bike cost me $1000, $300 in parts, $151 for plates, tags, registration, and $65/6 months of liability/uninsured motorist insurance. so.... not bad for $1600 And yes, I have full gear, head to toe
Pete84
Wow, that is a really good deal! What year / model is it? And how did you get it for just a grand??? I've been kicking around the idea of getting a bike, but my sedentary job combined with school - both full time - has put me into the largest of my life, 260lb. GRRRR. And I used to ride my bike [bicycle:P] to school and just about everywhere from middle school up through high school. Then I got jobs and started college. auxilary
2000 triumph tt600, and it was dismantled when I got it, hence cheap. Previous owner (friend of mine) started fixing it a few years ago, then just forgot about it/lost interest. Wanted to clear out garage space, offerred it to me dirt cheap
