JSM
Does anyone know if you can search by state? Or at least by Florida? I couldn't figure it out. I created a Word doc with all the areas I'm concerned about looking in after doing a search for datsun. The URL look like this: http://spacecoast.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=datsun http://staugustine.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=datsun http://treasure.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=datsun http://westpalmbeach.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=datsun The only part of the search that Changes is the city. Once I have all my areas I save the word doc as HTML and added it to my bookmarks. Now I have all the areas on one page with the search done. No searching or typing. One click to the boomark and another to do the search in the area. Once I'm done looking, I back button a few times and do a new search on a new area with just one click. Maybe I'm dumb and missed the All Florida search. Let me know if I did.
ShaggyZ
Good question. I'd like to do that, too.
JustinOlson
Bulk Searching: http://www.crazedlist.org/ Required Mozilla Fire Fox and the "web developer toolbar" plugin. Works great for me. Justin

m4xwellmurd3r
you don't need the developer toolbar, but it makes it easier. you can get to the config area of firefox by typing about:config in the address bar.
rturbo 930
you don't need the developer toolbar, but it makes it easier. you can get to the config area of firefox by typing about:config in the address bar.And then type in 'sendrefer' and change the 2 to a 1. Don't forget to change it back when you're done.
JSM
I just made a simple web page. No more typing. Just clicking! http://home.cfl.rr.com/jeffreysm/Datsun_Search.htm
Challenger
Ah, I hate you. Im gonna be stuck typing forever.
rturbo 930
Ah, I hate you. Im gonna be stuck typing forever. Not necessarily. If you have Firefox, open up whatever craigslist searches you want. Lets say I want to search for 240zs in Philly, and all of NJ. I'd open http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/search/sss?query=240z, and the others for NJ and use the 'bookmark all tabs' option to put them in a folder. Then just go to your bookmarks, find the folder, and click 'open all in tabs.' Not sure if that will work with other browsers, but it might, depending what features they have. If that didn't make sense, I apologize. I seem to be having trouble organizing my thoughts at the moment.

I just didn't feel like installing another program, yes I know, it is likely better, but mine is very easy to do also.
mario_82_ZXT
Im suprised craigslist doesnt have the feature on their website. Read the terms of use (I think) and you'll see why they don't. I've been using crazedlist.org forever now and love it's region searching too. Mario
The Woj
I have been using craigshelper in recent months and like how it works. Only thing I don't like is that it doesn't work with Safari, works fine on Firefox though.
ShaggyZ
I may be missing something, but that seems like a lot of work just to search the word "datsun," especially considering my experience that some of the best Datsun pieces don't even have that word anywhere in the ad. I may have to scheme something pretty efficient - time to bust out my coding skills from back in the day... or something. I just made a simple web page. No more typing. Just clicking!http://home.cfl.rr.com/jeffreysm/Datsun_Search.htm

To me not at all, I modified it to include other searches as well.
