jessejames
How did everyone hook up there heater core hoses. The hoses are different sizes coming off the engine than those on the heater core. The stock holes are also very close to the engine but to sharp of an angle. I'd love to see your pics. Also how much did everyone take off the length of their driveshaft. I measure yesterday and it looks like i need to take about 3.25 inches off. Does that sound about right. I'm just a little nervous about having it cut. greenmonster80
I used a heater hose to re-circulate the heater hose hardlines on the engine. Eventually I want a RHD heater core from a 180sx to hook up. Driveshaft I can double check tomorrow.
jessejames
Delta Spring & Chassis want $300 to cut shorten and balance the driveshaft. Is that reasonable? Anybody else with sr20s have measurements as to what they shortened it by? I know where all going to be a little different depending on the mounts. I just want a general idea. I mounted the motor as far back as i could. Any info would be helpful even if it just eases my mind.
209runner
For my sr swap I had a guy from one of the local driveline shops come and measure it and build a new one for about $350. And the driveline is also servicable.
