Twentyfourouncer
I don't know what kind of car you're doing this in, but if its a z not zx then you may need to find the driveshaft out of a 280z that had an R200 in it from the factory. The R180 flange will NOT fit on the R200 diff.
Guest zfan
Im swapping my r180 out to a r200. The imput flange to drive shaft on the r200 is different than the r180. Can the flange be swapped from a 180 to 200? Thanks for any imput. Also found out the hard way do not put lower mount in without mustache bar being in place first otherwise you get to do the stupid job twice! Z-Gad
Is your R200 out of a 280zx turbo? The bolt pattern should be the same for the Z and ZX unless it came out of an 82-83 turbo. Anyway, i have an R200 standard flange and am looking for the R200 turbo flange. If that is what you have, maybe we could swap? Just a thought, Mike
Mike C
Same. I bolted my stock 240z driveshaft to the r200 from a 78 280z. If you get it from a 300zx, I know you have to swap to the 280z flange. No experience with 280zx.
