Guest kiwinelson9879
Hi, I am looking for a clean 240z with a v8, RB, 1 or 2 JZ engine swap, open to other engines, it needs to be well engineered and have most or all of the work done, I am not looking to buy a project, i want to buy the completed toy... although if it is nearly there i will look at it. please email me or PM Me, I will arrange pick up from anywhere for the right car. Not looking for a stock 240z at all. cheers
dat240zg
How much are you willing to spend? I have been debating selling mine, but as it is a complete restoration it would be fairly expensive. On the other hand, you would have a car that would beat most other cars 2 to three times its cost. Bryan
Buma
Can you pm me what you have and how much you are looking to get for it? I am not interested in it in anyway,kiwinelson9879, I'm not trying to steal your find. Just looking into the same idea, I would rather buy someone else's hours than my self on my 260, there's much more work involved with my car than I was lead to believe, so I'd like to upgrade sometime too

dat240zg
Honestly, talking $ about a car is one of those things that I'm saving for someone who's serious about it. Don't take this as a prick-ish statement, don't mean it to sound that way. The reality of it is that I've put a heck of a lot of money into the car getting it to best in show standards so for most people the price tag would be way high. But, there's always someone somewhere (the eternal optimist in me...) Bryan
dsommer
I know Bryans car and to put a price on it I would say HIGH. I've seen the paint, know the shops that did the structural work and it's all first class.
mxs666
HIGH is what you are if you are dreaming of getting big money for a 240z. But if he wants to sell his car, he should post some pics and put up a price. At least he is right about beating cars 2x as fast. I sold my last 72 for $6,000 and it could easily beat hondas that cost $12k maybe even $15...

Relative to the condition of the car you're selling and to your definition of what bigger $ amounts are. You got 6 grand for your Z and maybe you got lucky. My z is a little different in that it's been restored top to bottom. Pics of my car are all over the site and as I said, if someone were interested in purchasing it, I'd share the info with them. Glad you were able to beat hondas. Bryan
Buma
I think the next Z I buy will one one that has had a frame-up. You can always get money, time on the other hand is something there's never enough of.
